Men in Black: International gets laughs from audiences, but was it really a necessary spin-off to make?

Men in Black: International (2019, directed by  F. Gary Gray) features an exciting cast consisting of Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Kumail Nanjiani, Liam Neeson and Emma Thompson—but even with an all-star cast, the movie seems to only generate audience laughter from the well-timed jokes made (mostly) by Nanjiani’s alien character Pawny.

Movie Review: Widows 👩🏿👩🏽👩🏼👩🏻

Widows is more than just about widowed women and heists.

I’m not going to lie but I checked the Rotten Tomatoes score of Widows (2018, directed and co-written by Steve McQueen) before I decided to watch it in theatres. As the title of the film suggests, Widows is about three women—or rather four—who recently lost their husbands. The main plot of the film revolves around the criminal activities that shape the lives of these characters.
